Mat Board Cream in standard sizes with standaard cut. The 1.6 mm Mat Boards are cut out of acid free Moorman paper to protect your work. It is important to know that the cut out of a Mat Board must be 1 cm smaller than the photo or work you wish to frame. If yo uwant to frame a photo of 30 x 40 cm then the cut out will be 29 x 39 cm so that the Mat Board just falls over the photo.
In addition to its decorative function a Mat Board has another function when framing photos: it prevents so-called Newton rings from forming as air gets trapped between the photo and the glass.
