Mat Boards

With a mat board a framed photo, painting or artwork gets even more depth and appearance. The Mat Boards are cut from acid-free Moorman paper, which guarantees the quality of the framed work in the long term.

In addition, a mat board prevents the formation of so-called 'Newton rings', the unwanted effect of circular light distortions between the cover glass and the framed work.

Mavanti supplies the Moorman mat boards in various standard sizes, with standard posture. When ordering you should take into account an overlap of 1 cm on all four inner sides of the passe-partout. In this way, the edges of the photo, painting or artwork are optimally covered within the frame.
